- I have discovered I 'need' a STRESS! to motivate me. I dont know why. So when I make these OMG! posts its really a good thing, because it means Ill get going. Nonetheless! <3


On the Home Front:

This year each month we are going to clean, organize, decorate (within a budget), and declutter in one room of the house. Great! Im so excited. For Jan we are redoing the Media Room - for we are shuffling the upstairs.

We have three rooms upstairs (hard to find small new homes in texas! Plus since I work at home and we want(ed) kids....) so we are shuffling them! The old Media Room (smallest room) is going to be the Guest Room. The old Guest Room (largest room) is going to become my craft room. The Loft (now the computer/messy room) is gonna become the Media room.

So were doing the Media Room first in dark browns and blacks with curtains with a Pirate-light Theme. However - we ordered PERFECT! chairs for it - betting (and being warned) it would take 3+ weeks to get those chairs.

They are coming Thursday. OMG!!! So were gonna empty the room (into the old Guest room) and get it clean and empty for the chairs. This weekend Im gonna try to get it painted and maybe get the curtains hung (not sure when the budget for that kicks in).

The only other maybe about all of this is Im tempted to get the Product making, shipping etc stuff into the Craft room as well and just leave ART! in the studio. That is the acutally smallest room but its painted perfectly and organized well - and the objects I need wont actually fit in the new Craft room well.

However, the 'Print computer', the new Printers, and all the product/shipping stuff might nicely. I still need to plan this all out.

My Studio (as everyone knows!) is bright purple and sparkly paints. The Pirate Media Room is going to be dark browns with some blacks - but we will prolly 'bottom line' the curtains with a bright pop of color (We think Teal) so its not just a sea of brown (see what I did there!)

The Guest Bedroom, I dont know..... I really want some Turquoise, blue and teal in the Craft room...

We might actually do none of this but get the Chairs set up and let mom help me pick out colors (shes SO GOOD at that, Im not great at it) when we go down for my birthday.

On the Art Front!

- I have 6 Paintings I want to do in January - 3 are Fantasy, 2 are Fan art gifts for my cousins, and one is a large beach landscape for my mother (by request!)

- I want to have my Webcomic Debut on my birthday (Jan 30th)

- I have a convention Feb. 20th - which I have planned 9! (eep!) more paintings but 5 of them are quick semi-goofy fan arts so they arent full product deployments but still....

On top of that I would want the Media Room, Craft Room, and Guest bedroom at least sleepable in due to a Fellow artist guest then ....

I dont expect the GB to be 'finished' although all it really needs is paint and we can scavenge for everything it basically needs in the room. The Craft room is also scavenging tables but will need bookcase/shelving units at the least - and a printer cart for all 3 printers/scanner.

The media room now just needs Curtains/Shades and some kind of small table to be our 'landing spot' at the house - needs to hold a few things. Our organization center goes on top of it!

My studio then needs nothing but a good solid total omg clean if Im moving everything out....

The only TRUE deadline is Id like the super-late-please-dont-mind paintings done by my Birthday, the webcomic debut on my birthday, and of course I need ALL of this at least STARTED finished by the 20th of February.

Oh yes, and dont forget all the new products, packaging, and getting stuff up for sale during all this on Etsy!

I believe the vacation, is over!
